Upward trajectory: 200% increase in registrations in upgrading and retraining courses

From 2019 to 2021, there was a 200% growth per year in the number of professionals opting for refresher and refresher courses on Intellipaat, the online vocational training provider.

—By switching to cloud-based education courses, professionals reported a 55% increase in their salary and position. With maximum attendance from male applicants (80%), these courses tend to help professionals move up to careers ranging from DevOps Engineers, AWS Architects, Cloud Engineers, Azure Engineers, Cloud Architects, Application Architects, and more.

– The programming courses were also chosen mainly by male professionals (70%). Those who took these courses successfully switched careers to become application managers, architects and programmers with a 35% salary and position increase, Intellipaat said.

—Analytics courses have helped professionals become BI consultants, analysts, research analysts and BI architects with a 50% increase in salary and position. Those who took these courses came from one or another of these backgrounds: final year students, programmers, MBA students, CAs, and non-IT professionals. Again, more male applicants opted for these courses (60%).
