Summer Reading Clinic returns to Edinboro for 2022

On your marks. Get on. Lily.
The University of Edinboro Summer Reading Clinic returns for 2022 with opportunities for young readers to work with Edinboro students to gain confidence as readers and writers.
Kindergarten to Grade 6 students are invited to Edinboro University’s Butterfield Hall beginning July 7 to work one-on-one with Edinboro staff to extend their reading instruction and of writing beyond the classroom.
Sessions will run Monday through Thursday through August 3 at no cost to attendees.
Edinboro students will help maintain and support school programming over the summer and actively engage learners in literacy strategies.
Each day, students will arrive between 10:15 and 10:25 a.m. with academic sessions starting at 10:30 a.m. Lunch will begin at 11:30 a.m. and students should bring their own. Snacks will be provided throughout the sessions.
Afternoon sessions will include outdoor Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (STEM) activities, followed by another academic period. Students will be released at 3:15 p.m.
