Roles and responsibilities: A data analyst is someone who interprets data and turns it into information that can help make business decisions. Usually, data analysts collect information from different sources and trends. After collecting information, the data is interpreted thoroughly. The main responsibilities of a data analyst are to collect, interpret, analyze data and report it to the relevant members of the sales team. Along with this, a data analyst must also work with teams within the company or management to establish the needs of the business. He / She is also called upon to define new data collection and analysis processes.
