BV County Community Foundation accepts grant applications
The deadline is September 30
The Buena Vista County Community Foundation is accepting applications for the Fall 2021 grant cycle.
The deadline for submitting applications is Thursday, September 30 at 4 p.m. The foundation will accept applications by mail to PO Box 771, Storm Lake, IA 50588
Additionally, grants can be submitted in person to Storm Lake United during regular business hours. A secure drop box is located inside the SLU offices.
The Buena Vista County Community Foundation seeks to provide grants to local nonprofit groups whose project will help make the county better. Grants are awarded for capital projects only. The foundation does not provide grants for operational programming.
Foundation officials will again post tips and tricks on their Facebook page at www.facebook.com/bvccf. Questions can be submitted through its Facebook page or by email, as long as it is submitted at least five days before the grant deadline.
Funds provided under the grant program must benefit residents and / or organizations of Buena Vista County. Applicants must be a 501 (c) 3 organization or government or educational organization such as a city, county or school district, or use a tax agent.
