The Business Travel Association (BTA) announced on August 9 a new partnership with global hotel reservation technology specialist HotelHub.
The alliance aims to help BTA members and partners of the travel management company (TMC) to better understand the optimization of their hotel business strategy.
Established in 2008, HotelHub gives users access to two million hotels worldwide and automates the entire hotel reservation workflow within a single platform. HotelHub also includes an Application Programming Interface (API) integrated with leading online booking tools in the business travel industry.
The partnership will give HotelHub access to BTA’s shared advisory services, including industry information, market updates, exclusive events, white papers and more.
BTA CEO Clive Wratten said: “As the travel industry is finally able to move again, it is crucial that TMCs receive the support they deserve. That’s why we’re excited to be working with HotelHub, who will help educate our loyal members and TMC partners on how to drive efficiencies and revenue through hotel bookings.
Eric Meierhans, Commercial Director of HotelHub, said: “We are delighted to have entered into this partnership with BTA, whose dedication to business travel and TMCs mirrors our own. Managing corporate hotel reservations, especially in the post-Covid era, will require smart strategy and data-driven decisions to optimize traveler safety, budgets and CSR. “
