MILFORD — Families are invited to join St. Mary’s School Virtual Open House, scheduled for 7 p.m. Feb. 1 on Zoom.

St. Mary’s School is accepting applications for all grades, K-8 for 2022-2023, as well as continuing enrollment for this school year. St. Mary’s is located at 72 Gulf Street in Milford.

Unity Worship Service on Goal Setting

MADISON — On Sunday, January 23 at 10:30 a.m. on Zoom, guest minister Reverend David Horst will discuss the difference between setting intentions and setting goals in his “This, Not That” reflection, as well as ambivalence about the changes to be made in our lives. Congregation Beth El – Keser Israel organizes events


NEW HAVEN – Congregation Beth El – Keser Israel, 85 Harrison Street in Westville, is continuing its in-person services. Weekday services are also available on Zoom.

Shabbat services will be broadcast live in January on www.beki.org: Fridays at 6 p.m. and Saturdays at 9:15 a.m. We ask everyone entering the building to be vaccinated and wear a KN-95 or higher mask.

January 24: Ethnomusicologist Rachel Adelstein continues a 6-part online show Mondays at 8:00 p.m., focusing on the origins and evolution of tunes for Jewish prayers.

Feb. 2: Lizzy Donius, executive director of the Westville Village Renaissance Alliance, and Alisha Crutchfield-McLean, owner of Bloom, a gathering space and retail store in Westville, are the guest speakers at an online Schmooze at 7:30 p.m. .

B’Nai Jacob Congregation organizes services, events

WOODBRIDGE — Congregation B’nai Jacob, 75 Rimmon Road, Woodbridge, announces the following services and programs. If you don’t know how to zoom, visit https://www.bnaijacob.org or call 203-389-2111. We zoom and live for Shabbat evening and morning services.

The Mishkan Israel Congregation organizes events

HAMDEN — Congregation Mishkan Israel, 785 Ridge Rd, Hamden, invites people in person or online for Friday night Shabbat services at 6 p.m., led by Rabbi Brian Immerman and Cantor Arthur Giglio.

Northford Congregational invites all to services

NORTHFORD – The Northford Congregational Church invites everyone to join services every Sunday at 10 a.m. Anyone not vaccinated is required to wear a mask while all fully vaccinated people have the option of wearing a mask or not.

Northford Congregational Church is located at 4 Old Post Road, on the corner of Route 22 and Route 17, in the village of Northford in North Branford. Saint Ann’s announces services

OLD LYME – Saint Ann’s Episcopal Church, 82 Shore Road, Old Lyme, is hosting a discussion on Martin Luther King’s letter from Birmingham Jail, at 11.30am on January 23. The event is presented by Saint Ann’s Becoming Beloved Community Committee, in honor of Martin Luther King Day.

Written in the margins of a newspaper while in an Alabama prison in 1963, this landmark piece considers the struggle against racism and reflects on the healing power of love. The letter is available online at https://rb.gy/m6j3vp

In keeping with health and safety best practices for all, all visitors, regardless of their vaccination status, are asked to wear a face covering while in the church. Masks are located in the narthex as well as at the entrance by the parish offices.

Saint Andrew’s invites all to worship

NORTHFORD — Saint Andrew’s Episcopal Church, 1382 Middletown Avenue, Northford, invites residents to Sunday services at 10 a.m. Coffee and fraternity follow each office.

St. Andrew’s is a member of the Middlesex Area Cluster Ministry Network, along with St. James in Higganum and Emmanuel in Killingworth. The church is also home to the Food Pantry of North Branford, a community resource serving families in need in Northford and North Branford. The church also partners with St. Pauly Textile in an extensive outreach program to help those in need in the United States and around the world. Donations of usable clothing, shoes, boots, belts, purses, linens, blankets, curtains, and stuffed animals can be made at the donation drop-off in the church parking lot, available 24/7.

Temple Beth David offers online programs

CHESHIRE – Temple Beth David, 3 Main St., Cheshire, uses the Zoom online platform and Facebook Live for its events.

Shabbat services are held weekly on Fridays at 7 p.m., except the first Friday of the month when a youth Shabbat service is held at 6:30 p.m., with Oneg Shabbat held in the social hall by different temple families each week .
