The Art Dash party took place on the evening of Friday, April 8, 2022 at The Woodlands Waterway Marriott Hotel and Convention Center, including works by artists who will be featured this weekend at Fidelity Investments The Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival. Artists and arts supporters came together at the event produced by the Woodlands Arts Council and presented by the Woodlands Compounding Pharmacy. Attendees had the opportunity to mingle with talented performers, enjoy delicious light bites and cocktails, and a 60-second “dash” for treasures to take home.

Haley Garcia, Chair of the Art Dash Party and Board Member of the Woodlands Arts Council, said: “My mission as Board Member and Chair of this evening is to bring even more visibility to all that the Woodlands Arts Council does for the arts in our community, and how happy we are to share it by enjoying the evening together.

VIP artists visited guests in the Art Dash gallery, where art collectors planned their Art Dash strategy. Special announcements and thanks were made by Art Dash Party Chair Haley Garcia, TWAC Executive Director Jenny Carattini-Wright, and TWAC Chairman James Stilwell. Hosts Nick Wolda and Alex Bunch led the program and the live auction with special guest Nelda Blair as auctioneer.

The Art Dash Party and Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival benefits Woodlands Arts Council arts programming, scholarships and educational outreach programs throughout the year. Because art matters.

This weekend, the Woodlands Arts Council invites the community to celebrate the 17th Annual Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival, live and in person, on Saturday April 9 and Sunday April 10 along the Woodlands Waterway and the Town Green Park. The Woodlands Arts Council is a 501(c)(3) non-profit corporation whose mission is to provide regional cultural and educational enrichment. TWAC achieves this by presenting the Woodlands Waterway Arts Festival and organizing community events and programs that support the performing, visual and literary arts.
